Interactive Workshops and Talks

These sessions explore the challenges faced by people, celebrate their strengths, including unique ways of thinking, and offer practical guidance and suggestions for creating inclusive spaces that reduce barriers to participation and enable people to thrive. 

I share lived-experience stories and provide ample opportunity for questions and discussion, so participants leave with fresh insights and practical ideas. Often, I add a healthy dash of appropriate humour and relatability, as connection is important. 

I offer three separate topic areas (I can offer mixed topics in one presentation- please request this):

• Neurodivergence
• Invisible disabilities
• Addiction 

These safe and open environments foster learning, sharing, and connection. In each of the topics, the material includes: 

• Information and lived experience examples to enable understanding of the topics

• Breaking common misconceptions 
• Why language and communication matter
• How true inclusion requires accessibility, and how to enhance this
• How assumptions and misunderstandings can reduce opportunities to thrive
• Examples of barriers that people may face
• Ways to remove these barriers and promote inclusive environments where people can thrive and reach their potential

Delivery Options:

• Sessions are offered remotely at times convenient for you
• In-person sessions available with agreed-upon travel costs
• Longer sessions and custom topics are arranged upon request

• Workshops (interactive, group discussions, Q&A: up to 30 attendees for active engagement)

30-minute bite-sized, lunchbreak/ team meeting talk or workshop: £100

60-minute overview talk or workshop:  £160

90-minute deeper dive talk or workshop (includes short comfort break): £210

2-hour in-depth talk or workshop (includes short comfort break): £260
